Blue Mountain Resort Opens 40th Trail Today
Free Fall Welcomes Skiers and Boarders on Thursday, January 6

2021/2022 SKI SEASON CONTINUES AT BLUE MOUNTAIN RESORT AS IT OPENS ITS 40TH TRAIL
PALMERTON, Penn. – Blue Mountain Resort, located in the foothills of Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains, announces that on Thursday, January 6, Free Fall, the mountain’s 40th trail is now open.
Free Fall, Blue Mountain Resort’s 40th trail, utilizes new snowmaking guns and LED lighting for premier day and night skiing. The seven-acre, black-diamond trail is accessible by the Comet Quad Chairlift that connects into the mountain’s Paradise trail.
Blue Mountain has some of the longest trails in the state including 14 beginner, six intermediate, 11 expert, four expert only and five terrain parks. Fully lit night skiing trails are open until 9 p.m., and skiing hours on weekdays start at 9 a.m. and at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sunday and specified winter holidays.
