City Of Wilkes-Barre: New Year's Eve Holiday Collection

The City of Wilkes-Barre reminds residents that City Hall will be closed and there will be no DPW collections on Friday, December 31st. Residents in the East End, Parsons & Miners Mills neighborhoods will have their Paper and Cardboard Recycling and Garbage collection postponed to Monday, January 3rd. Please note that this schedule has changed from information that is in the City Calendar.

CHRISTMAS TREE COLLECTION: Wilkes-Barre City DPW will collect natural Christmas Trees curbside on residents’ regular collection day, from January 10th through 28th. Please remove all decorations and tree bags. Bagged trees will not be accepted.
