Snow In Store For Rhode Island Monday Night

Expect some snow Monday night and possibly some more on top of it later in the week.

There is a slight chance of snow showers between midnight Monday and 3 a.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

The Monday night low is about 22 degrees and winds will gust as high as 34 mph, the National Weather Service predicts.

A mostly sunny Tuesday will warm up to about 30 degrees but winds will gust as high as 44 mph.

There's more snow possible New Year's Eve after 7 p.m., according to the National Weather Service forecast.

The New Year's Eve low temperature is about 18 degrees, and even if it does snow, little or no accumulation is expected.

New Year's Day will be mostly sunny with a high near 28 degrees and a west windof 8 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.
