Antone Cabeceiras, 86, Retired Kaiser Aluminum Machinist

Antone Cabeceiras, of Bristol, passed away on October 13, 2013, at the RI Veteran's Home in Bristol.  He was 86.

He was the husband of the late Mary (Quinn) Cabeceiras. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Francisco and Philomena (Motta) Cabeceiras. 

He was the father of Linda Field, Nancy Cabeceiras and Kevin Cabeceiras; grandfather of Heather Valentino, Catherine and Christina Field, Adam, Brandon, Amy and David Cabeceiras; great grandfather of Orion Field and Michael and Robert Valentino. He was the brother of RaymondCabeceiras, Gilbert Cabeceiras, Elaine Faria and the late Dorothy Arruda, Natalie Robbins and Francis Cabeceiras. 

He attended Fall River Schools and served in the Navy and Coast Guard during World War II and the Korean War. He later was a machinist for US Rubber and Kaiser Aluminum before retiring. 

His funeral services will be held Saturday, October 19th, at 10 am from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., Bristol, with a Mass of Christian Burial, at 11 am at St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bristol.
