Antonio T. Placido, 69, Retired Wire Worker
His visiting hours are today and his funeral is Wednesday from Smith Funeral and Memorial Services in Warren.

Antonio T. Placido, 69, of Bristol, died Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was 69.
He was the loving husband of Natalia (Silva) Placido. Born in Sao Miguel, Portugal, a son of the late Arthur Placido and Conceicao (Tavares), he had been a long-time Bristol resident.
Placido worked at Triangle Wire and Cable in Pawtucket for many years until his retirement. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Church in Bristol and enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, and cherished spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors, two sons, Antonio S. Placido and his wife Lisa of Rehoboth, and Kevin S. Placido and his wife Stephanie of Seekonk. Brothers, Arthur T. Placido of Bristol, Jose Placido of Montreal, and the late Carlos M. Placido, sisters, Maria DeMelo and Conceicao Placido both of Montreal. He is also survived by his grandsons, Antonio J. and Andrew A. Placido, and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren, where the family will receive friends today, November 26, from 4-8 pm. His funeral is Wednesday, 8:30 am, from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Elizabeth’s Church, Bristol. Burial wil be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bristol.
