Bristol Announces Supplemental Award For Take It Outside Recipients

BRISTOL, RI– On Monday, November 9th, 2020, the Town of Bristol announced supplemental assistance for all Take It Outside awardees.

Beginning Thursday, November 12th, 2020, businesses will be able to receive free propane fuel from Sunshine Fuels & Energy Services on a limited basis through December 18th, 2020. Further details will be provided to Take It Outside awardees shortly.

“With this service offering, the Town is pleased that it could complement the support that’s been provided to date,” said Chris Vitale, Economic Development Coordinator.

This service will be offered until December 18th OR until the credit at Sunshine Fuel has been depleted. Take It Outside awardees are encouraged to call ahead to Sunshine to ensure fuel is still available for pickup.

Last month, the Town supported twenty-two (22) local businesses by procuring and distributing outdoor equipment such as patio heaters, lighting, and commercial tents.

This program is funded through the State of Rhode Island’s Take It Outside initiative.
