John “Jack” Wolstenholme Jr., 84, Retired Property Manager

His calling hours and funeral service are Saturday from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home in Providence.

John “Jack” Wolstenholme Jr., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Crestwood Nursing Home in Warren. He was 84.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Willock) Wolstenholme, Sr. He lived previously in Providence.

Wolstenholme worked for Blackstone Valley Electric Company for 20 years, and then The Gilbane Company, managing several buildings, including the Arcade Building in downtown Providence. Most recently he worked as a property manager for Ryan Elliot and managed several buildings, including the Hay Building, in Providence, retiring in 2003. He served his country proudly with the United States Navy Reserves during WWII.

He leaves his two sons, Scott Wolstenholme, and Brad Wolstenholme; three daughters, Margaret D. “Peggy” Sisson, Jacqueline “Jackie” Ott, and Julie King; two step daughters, Deborah Palamar and Susan McCloud; fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Judith Wolstenholme, and brother of the late Elizabeth “Betty” Nydam, Barbara Armour, and Mildred Picard.

The funeral with visitation will begin on Saturday, November 23 at 11 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, with a funeral service at 12 noon, to which relatives and friends are invited.
