Kindergarten Registration Open In Bristol-Warren

Children who will be 5 years old by Sept. 1 can sign up to start school this fall.

BRISTOL-WARREN, RI — Kindergarten resignation for the 2022-2023 school year is now open in Bristol-Warren. Parents can sign their child up to start school this fall.

To be eligible to start kindergarten, children must be at least 5 years old by Sept. 1. Preliminary registration can be completed on the district's website, followed by an in-person appointment from March 15 to 17. Appointments will be at the school administration offices on High Street in Bristol. Students are welcome to attend, but are not required at the appointment.

The school district touted its benefits to students, including "amazing teachers and classroom environments that bring learning to life...[with a] research-based and engaging curriculum," as well as 1:1 iPad technology for all kindergarten students and teachers certified in the Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling program.

Parents of children currently enrolled in preschool should complete the Kindergarten Pre-Registration form, and the registrar's office will reach out if more information is needed.
