Men, 18 & 19, Boy, 14, Face Charges After Underage Party in Warren

Two young men and a boy, 14, face charges after Warren police broke up an underage drinking party at an apartment on Market Street last Saturday night, Oct. 26.

Tevin R. Jones, 19, of 17 Warren Ave., Warren; Christopher R. Perry Jr. of 27 Smith St., Bristol, and the juvenile were arrested at about 11:45 pm at a party that attracted teens ranging in age from 14 to 19, said Warren Lt. Roland Brule.

“Alcohol was spotted in plain view as many of the teens attempted to flee,” said Brule. 

The party was being held in the second floor apartment of 200 Market St.

Jones was charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer in executing their duties. Perry was charged with obstructing an officer in executing their duties. The juvenile was charged with simple assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Jones was charged after yelling at a police officer, Brule said. Perry was charged after providing a false age to a police officer. He allegedly attempted to present himself as a juvenile.

The 14-year-old boy was charged after he “became belligerent with officers and a parent,” Brule said. “He was threatening with a parent, slapped an officer’s hand, and attempted to push an officer away on his chest.”

Jones and Perry were arraigned at the Warren police station and released. They have a 6th District Court date on Friday, Nov. 1. 

The juvenile’s case will be referred to Family Court, Brule said.
