The health department on Tuesday recommended closing Warren Town Beach due to high bacteria counts.
WARREN, RI—The Warren Town Beach should be closed for swimming due to high bacteria counts, the state health department said Tuesday. The Slack Reservoir is also closed (on the Johnston-Greenville line) due to blue-green algae blooms. For the latest information about beach closures, please click here.
