Coventry Delays Trash Pickup Due To Snow, How Much Fell
Trash and recycling pickup will be on a one-day delay for the rest of the week.

COVENTRY, RI — Trash and recycling pickup will be delayed by one day in Coventry this week, thanks to snow. The town decided to cancel trash and recycling pickup after about eight inches of snow fell across town from Sunday morning into early Monday morning.
That means that trash pickup will be on a one-day delay for the remainder of the week, ahead of another delayed week due to Presidents' Day next week.
The snow prompted a two-hour delay at Coventry schools and the cancelation of morning preschool.
