Monday Essentials: Antique Cars, Organic Skincare, Wine Tasting and More
Today is Monday, Sept. 16, 2013 and here are some things to know about the week ahead.

WCFD Board Meeting: At 7 p.m. on Monday, the Western Coventry Fire District Board of Directors will meet at Summit Station (1110 Victory Highway). Click here to view the meeting agenda.
Riverview Car Show: From 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, Riverview Health Care, located at 546 Main Street in Coventry, will host its 6th Annual Antique Car Show.
Steak Fry Reservations: This Wednesday, Sept. 18 is the deadline to make reservations for the Coventry Men's Club Steak Fry, scheduled for Sept. 20. at 7 p.m. A steak dinner will cost $12.99, a chicken dinner $10.99. Live music will follow the meal. Reservations can be made by calling 385-3536.
Organic Skincare: At 7 p.m. on Thursday, New England Farm and Artist (NEFA), (1112 Main Street), is offering an Organic and Chemical Free Skincare Workshop! Learn how to make organic and safe skincare products with Ashley Tucker, whose "Earth to Skin" line will be carried at NEFA. Workshop is $20 per person, which includes all materials. Wine Tasting with LVKC: On Friday, Sept. 20, the Literacy Volunteers of Kent County (LVKC) will host a wine-tasting fundraiser at Shelalara Vineyards and Winery (21-B Reservoir Road). The event will take place from 6-9 p.m. and will feature wine, hors d'oeuvres, music and a silent auction. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door.
