Five Things: Two Schools Meetings, One Farmers Market

NK Farmers Market: The market takes place in the back of the Brown Street municipal parking lot, by the anchor, every Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. You can pick up fresh vegetables, seafood, baked goods and more.
School Committee Policy Sub-Committee meeting: This meeting takes place early – 8:30 a.m. – but it’s a public meeting, so anyone can attend. Trash pickup delayed: Because of the Victory Day holiday yesterday, trash pickup is delayed a day all week, so if your trash is usually picked up on Tuesdays, it will be picked up on Wednesday this week.

Free museum passes at NK Free Library: The summer’s winding down – if you are casting about for something fun to do and are willing to take a drive, the NK Free Library has two sets of passes, one for the Newport Art Museum and one for the Mystic Seaport Museum.
