Dorothy E. Manchester, 73, of North Kingstown and formerly of Coventry and Warwick, passed away August 21. She was the wife of the late William E. Manchester. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Rey and Ethel (Davis) Lovelace.
Mrs. Manchester had worked as an assembler for the former Q.C. Enterprise in Johnston. She is survived by her children, Sharon R. Hamilton of Coventry, George E. Manchester and his wife Tammy of North Kingstown, and Linda L. Richter of Cleveland, Ohio; seven grandchildren, George, Jr., Shawn, Cody, Ashley, Laurie, Dennis and Christine; three great grandchildren; and two brothers, Rey and Thomas Lovelace. She was the mother of the late William E. Manchester, III.
The funeral service takes place Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 10 a.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick. Calling hours are Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
