Obituary: Sharon L. (Tilson) Arver, 63

Sharon L. (Tilson) Arver, 63, passed away on Sunday, September 15, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of James F. Arver of North Kingstown. Born in Spokane, Wash., she was the daughter of the late Richard E. and Juanita M. (Young) Tilson.

Sharon was an LPN and MDS Coordinator for Scalabrini Villa Health Care Center for 17 years and had previously worked in various nursing homes in Rhode Island. She was an avid reader and cared deeply for animals. Her true passion was to be the best wife, mother and grandmother she could be.

Besides her husband James, she is survived by three children: Glen Tilson and wife Bobbie of Columbus, Ga., Joseph Arver and wife Rebecca of North Kingstown and Melissa Arver of North Kingstown; three grandchildren; a brother Bob Heaphy and her godmother Joann Mitchell. She is predeceased by a brother Bill Wilder.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island for their care and support in her final days.
