Water Main Break in NK Could Cause Discolored Water
If your water is looking discolored, here's why: A construction crew struck a water main on Post Road near Reynolds Farm on Tuesday.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI—A water main break on Post Road in North Kingstown Tuesday could cause some water discoloration and water users are being advised to check before using.
Town officials said that the water main break was caused by a construction crew that hit the main off Post Road by Reynolds Farm.
"Customers should be aware of the potential for discolored water while the break is being repaired," a town Facebook post states. "All water system users are cautioned to check the water for clarity before use."

If you experience discolored water, "simply wait a period of time and it will clear up," officials advise.
