The tournament, in its second year, is the brainchild of Tory Hueston, the mother of a Hirschsprung child and a member of REACH (Research Education and Awareness for Children with Hirschsprung’s), which is the sponsor of the golf tournament fundraiser. Tory, a former resident of North Kingstown, and graduate of North Kingstown High School, has a  two-and-a-half-year old-son, who is a victim of this genetic disease. His name is Avery Kent Hueston and he was born, as was an uncle who succumbed to the disease many years ago, with Hirschsprung’s. Interested readers may read about Avery at www.reachhd.org.
