Congratulations to Wickford Little League, which beat Warwick Continental over the weekend in the 28th annual friendship tournament at Warwick Continental, with a score of 7-2.
This is the ninth time Wickford has won the tournament. All proceeds benefit the MS Society.
Players were Alexander Swartz, Jordan Benzoni, Matt Paul, Seth LaFreniere, Dylan Powers, James McGovern, Joey Cramer, Patrick Asher, Anthony Knight, Ben Haberman, and Matthew Healey, with Head Coach Kevin Knight, and coaches Mike Embury, Peter Healey, and Bill Haberman.
