We will be discussing Check Please by Ngozi Ukazu, available to borrow at the front desk and on the Libby App. Snacks and water will be provided. Join us Tuesday December 16 at 3:30 pm in the Teen Center for Banking Fundamentals with College Bound Citizens! Learn about different bank accounts, how credit scores work, and more with Gina Rigby from College Bound Citizens. We will have food for all teens who attend, and attendees will receive 1 hour of community service for attending. Registration isn't required, but you can <a href="https://pawtucketlibrary.libcal.com/event/15245761" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">register to receive an email reminder</a>. This is an event designed for ages 12-18 and/or grades 6-12.

Join us to celebrate this special time of year, the Winter Solstice, by uplifting artists, cultures, and the enduring values of giving and reciprocity. Get ready for a memorable event this holiday season, where you will have the unique opportunity to meet and learn from the makers of time-honored and culturally relevant art from all over the world. Purchase or make an Indigenous craft, listen to music, enjoy presentations, participate in a dance, delight in the flavor of cultural foods, celebrate the holiday season, and welcome the return of longer sunlit days. 
Cultural Survival advocates for Indigenous Peoples' rights and supports Indigenous communities’ self-determination, cultures, and political resilience, since 1972 (<a href="https://www.cs.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.cs.org</a>).
