East Smithfield Library hosts a how-to on recycling old books on Tuesday, July 9, at 6:30 p.m. Registration required.

If they're too used to donate to a local library, why not recycle them into art prints, handbags, journals, planters — or another kind of artsy project?
East Smithfield Library is hosting a free workshop on "upcycling" old books on Tuesday night, July 9, at 6:30 p.m.
