Residents Escape Early-Morning Fire in Smithfield
Firefighters from Smithfield and four other towns responded to the fire at 69 Williams Road early Thursday morning.
An early-morning house fire in Smithfield resulted in a destroyed home on Thursday, but no reported injuries.
Smithfield Fire personnel and firefighters from four other towns responded to the blaze at 69 Williams Road, NBC10.com reported.
Burrillville, Glocester, North Smithfield and Scituate also brought water tanker trucks to the scene since the nearest hydrant is located more than 1,000 ft. from the site of the fire, the television station noted.
