SPD Log: DUI Arrests, Robbery From Vehicles, Domestic Assault
The following information was supplied by the Smithfield Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction:
Editor's note: The following is a partial account of the incidents Smithfield Police responded to during Sept. 13 - 14:
Friday, Sept. 13:
- At about 7:45 a.m., Smithfield Police responded to a Fenwood Drive residence for a report of a person in a black hooded sweatshirt in a resident's front yard.
- At about 3:45 p.m., Smithfield Police responded to 278 Douglas Pike for a report of malicious damage and larceny from a vehicle. A window was smashed and four tires were taken from a pickup truck.
- At about 11:45 p.m., Smithfield Police arrested Joanne Green, 39, charging her with DUI and driving while in possession of hydrocodone.
Saturday, Sept. 13:
- At about 7:45 a.m., Smithfield Police arrested Connor C. Arnold, 21, charging him with DUI.
- At about 11:45 p.m., Smithfield Police arrested Andrew Plezia, 28, charging him with driving with a suspended license.
- At about 11:45 p.m., Smithfield Police arrested Derek Rose, 40, charging him with domestic assault on a person older than 60, resulting in bodily injury.
- At about 11:45 p.m., Smithfield Police arrested Debra Benton, 55, charging her with driving with a suspended license.
