103,000 New Jobs Added, But Unemployment Rate Stays at 9.1
September numbers have been released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics

The U.S. economy added 103,000 new jobs in September, as the unemployment rate stays at 9.1 percent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The agency said that the increase in jobs was in part due to more than 42,000 telecommunications workers who returned to work after a strike in August.
Several private-sector groups saw job gains. Health employment increased by 44,000 jobs in both health care services and hospital. The industry has added 336,000 in the last 12 months.
