A 16-year-old who was shot multiple times Wednesday is in critical condition at Palmetto Health Richland, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Department.  The shooting happened around 5 p.m. in the 1300 block of Piney Grove Road, said Curtis Wilson, spokesperson for the sheriff's department. The teen was shot several times in the lower body and was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery.  The sheriff's department is trying to locate the person or people responsible for the shooting. Anyone with information about the crime should call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
