9 USC Students, Staff Safe, Treating Injured at Boston Marathon
The athletic training students and staff are treating people who were injured during two explosions near the finish line of the race.

Seven athletic training students and two certified athletic trainers from the University of South Carolina who were at the Boston Marathon today when two explosions went off near the finish line are all okay, The Daily Gamecock reports.
The students are treating injured runners in outside tents at the race, Toni Torres-McGehee, graduate director of athletic training education, told the student newspaper.
USC's athletic training program sends students to the Boston Marathon each year to treat runners.
