Richland One Introduces 'Teacher Feature' TV Segments

Do you know a Richland One teacher using innovative teaching methods that deserve recognition? Or maybe a teacher whose service has gone above and beyond the call of duty?

Nominate that teacher for Richland One’s new “Teacher Feature” segments that will air on Richland One TV.

Starting in January, “Teacher Feature” will highlight one teacher each month for his or her dedication to the education of our students.

Nominations can be submitted by Richland One students, teachers, parents and community members.

The inaugural “Teacher Feature” will spotlight A.C. Flora High School teacher Patricia Swinton, Richland One’s 2011-2012 Teacher of the Year. The segments will be broadcast during the Richland One This Week TV show. Check our website for broadcast dates and times.

Nominations are due by the first of each month beginning Feb. 1.

Submit your nomination online. Information requested on the nomination form includes the name, school,grade and subject taught by the nominee, as well as a brief paragraph describing why the teacher should be recognized.

Nominations must be submitted by the first day of each month during the school year to be considered. A district selection panel will review the nominations and select an honoree for each month. Nominations will not be carried over to the next month.
