The Columbia Police Department’s (CPD) Crime Gun Intelligence Unit (CGIU) officers are working to identify a male suspect accused of shooting at another vehicle while driving. Thankfully, no one was injured.

The incident happened shortly before noon on December 1, 2021 while at the 400 block of Spears Creek Church Road. Two male victims reported that as they were initially traveling north, the suspect drove behind them in an aggressive manner and repeatedly honked the horn.
While at the intersection of Spears Creek Church Road and Earth Road, the suspect is further accused of shooting at the victims’ vehicle causing damage.

After the shooting incident, the victims pulled over to the side of the road to call 9-1-1.
At this time, it is believed that the suspect was possibly driving an early to mid-2000’s style black Chevy Silverado with a tool box or dog crate on the back.
