Six members of the Columbia-Richland Fire Department earned promotions and appointments to new positions during the last quarter of 2021.
With their friends and family members looking on, each honoree officially received their new badge from Fire Chief Aubrey D. Jenkins during a ceremonial pinning at CRFD headquarters.

Two department members were promoted to the rank of fire captain while three additional members were appointed to training officer positions. The department also named a new public fire education officer who will oversee all community fire safety programs offered by CRFD.
