Columbia Man Dies in I-26 Wreck
The wreck happened between mile markers 92 and 93 in the Chapin area Monday morning.

A 60-year-old Columbia man died Monday morning after his car ran off Interstate 26 near mile markers 92 and 93 in Richland County, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.
The man was driving on I-26 east when his 2007 Ford Edge ran off the right side of the road around 10:50 a.m., said Lance Cpl. Brent Kelly with the highway patrol. His car struck a tree.
He was wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
