Columbia Man Wanted for Trying to Steal Copper

Deputies say the man caused more than $5,000 in damage to a home while trying to steal copper.

Richland County deputies are looking for a man who they say tried to steal copper from a new home under construction. 

Troy Kennedy, 29, is wanted for injury to real property to obtain nonferrous metals. 

Deputies say he caused more than $5,000 in damage to the new home by trying to steal copper.
