UPDATE: Columbia Teen Wanted for Murder

A man, later identified by the Richland County Coroner as Quamain Cambrice-Lewis, was shot and killed while standing on the front porch of a Tremain Street home Sunday, police say.

Columbia Police are looking for a 17-year-old male who they say shot and killed a man early Sunday. 

Clifton DeAaron Dreher is wanted for murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

Dreher and another man got into an argument at a home in the 1800 block of Tremain Street around 2 a.m., according to the police department. Police say Dreher then shot the man, who was standing on the porch of the house.

Richland County Coroner Gary Watts identified the victim as 23-year-old Quamain Cambrice-Lewis of Columbia.

People at the home drove the man to the hospital where he was prounounced dead, according to police.

An autopsy conducted Sunday showed Cambrice-Lewis died from complications of a gunshot wound to the upper body, according to the coroner's office.

Police recovered the vehicle used in the shooting and are processing it for potential evidence. 

Dreher’s last known address is 112 Cardamon Court in Columbia. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous. Warrants for his arrest have been entered in to the National Crime Information Center (NCIC).

This shooting death marks the Columbia Police Department’s first murder investigation of 2013.
