Coroner Identifies Columbia Man Killed in I-26 Wreck
Robert B. Frantz, Jr. died Monday in a wreck near mile marker 93 on I-26.

The Columbia man who died Monday in a wreck on I-26 near Chapin was 60-year-old Robert B. Frantz, Jr., according to the Richland County Coroner's Office.
Frantz was driving on I-26 east when his 2007 Ford Edge ran off the right side of the road around 10:50 a.m. and hit a tree, said Coroner Gary Watts.
Frantz was wearing a seatbelt but died at the scene from trauma associated with the crash, Watts said.
