Free Admission for Military Personnel

In honor of Veteran’s Day, Riverbanks Zoo and Garden will offer free admission to all military personnel on Friday, November 11.

In order to receive free admission, military personnel will be asked to show their military ID card at either the Zoo or Garden entrance.

“This is just a small token of our appreciation to the fine men and women who have served or are currently serving our country,” said Satch Krantz, executive director of Riverbanks Zoo and Garden.

Riverbanks also provides free admission throughout the year to Fort Jackson Basic Combat Training graduates who visit the Zoo in uniform on the day of their graduation.
