Former Law Officer Arrested on Child Porn Charges
The 67-year-old man could face up to 10 years in prison on each count of the charge.

A retired law enforcement officer who lives in Columbia was arrested Monday on child pornography charges, according to the S.C. Attorney General's office.
William Fitzhugh, 67, is charged with three counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
An undercover investigator with the Internet Crime Against Children Task Force downloaded images of children engaging in sexual activity, according to the Attorney General's office. Investigators determined that the images came from an IP address in Richland County.

The Richland County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant at Fitzhugh's house and seized a laptop computer and other laptop-related equipment.
Fitzhugh could face two to 10 years in prison on each count. He was assigned a surety bond of $25,000.
