Gang Member Pleads Guilty to Drug, Firearm Charges

Travis Santel Dwyer, 29, of Columbia, pled guilty Monday in federal court to possession of a firearm by a felon and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, according to a press release from the state attorney.
On Oct. 6, 2011, Dwyer's home was searched and investigators found crack cocaine, marijuana and a loaded .40 caliber firearm.
Dwyer has admitted to being a member of the Bloods gang, according to the release. He faces up to 10 years of imprisonment and a $250,000 fine for possessing a fire arm. He faces 30 years in prison and a $2 million fine on the drug charge.
