Man Charged in 4 Burglaries in Rosewood Area
Deputies arrested 27-year-old Therion Lawrence and charged him with four counts of burglary.

A 27-year-old man is accused of committing four burglaries in the Rosewood area of Columbia, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Department.
Therion Lawrence is charged with four counts of burglary.
Lawrence was arrested last week by the Columbia Police Department in connection with a burglary at a home on South Walker Street, according to the sheriff's department. Deputies were investigating several burglaries in that area, so they questioned him and determined that he committed the following burglaries:

- Jan. 1 – Deputies say Lawrence broke into an apartment at 518 Deerwood Street through the living room window and stole a 32” LCD Flat Screen Television valued at $250.
- Jan. 12 – Deputies say Lawrence broke into an apartment at 508 Deerwood Street through the common area hallway door and shattered the window. Once inside, deputies say he stole a 47” LED 3-D Television, X-Box 360, X-Box Kinect, X-Box FIFI game, and HG Pavilion Laptop, with a total estimated total value $2,864.00. The damage to the door and window is estimated at $350.
- March 5 – Deputies say Lawrence broke the back door window at 528 Deerwood Street to gain entry into the apartment. Once inside, they say he stole a Samsung LED 32” Television, and a Netbook Laptop, total estimated value $1,550. Total estimated damage to the back door window $250.
- March 11 – Lawrence broke into an apartment at 441 Deerwood Street by forcing open the bathroom window. After gaining entry into the apartment, Lawrence stole a black .40 caliber Smith and Wesson hand gun, Play Station 3, Blockbuster DVD, Play Station video games, Sniper Elite, Deadspace 3, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, and Call of Duty Black OPS, according to the sheriff's department. The total estimated value is $765.
Lawrence has additional charges pending with the Columbia Police Department, and has been transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
