Officials Search for Suspect in Kidnapping, Armed Robbery, Assault

Officials for searching for Willie Harden Gray Jr. who is wanted for kidnapping, armed robbery and assault and battery.  

At 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Gray entered on Broad River Road with another unknown suspect, according to a Richland County Sheriff's Office press release.

Gray allegedly assaulted the owner by beating him with his fist and pistol. The two then stole money from the register, clothes from the store and the owner and clerk's wallets, cell phones and cash, according to the release.

Gray and the other suspects allegedly stole the following:

• a white gold chain with “In the Hood Fashions” emblem on it valued at $12,000
• Nike Diamond Turf shoes, $100, white, green and orange in color
• White Samsung Galaxy S2 cell phone, $250

Gray and the others left in a black Ford Taurus with Florida tags and a female driver.
