Richland One Bus Driver Charged Friday with DUI

Margaret Means was charged with DUI and child endangerment.

A Richland One bus driver was charged with driving under the influence Friday morning, shortly after completing her bus route.

South Carolina Highway Patrol told WLTX, Margaret Means, 61, was ending her morning route when she ran off Clarkson Road in Columbia and went into a ditch.

No children were on the bus, troopers said, but Means has been charged with one count of child endangerment, the news station reported.
