Richland Sheriff's Deputies Investigating Shooting
A 24-year-old woman who had been shot in the upper body was transported to the hospital, where her condition is unknown.
A 24-year-old woman is in the hospital after she was shot early Wednesday morning on Kathleen Drive, according to Richland County Sheriff's deputies.
Deputies responded to a shooting just after 6 a.m. at 1547 Kathleen Drive, according to the sheriff's department. The woman had been shot
in the upper body.
A 31-year-old man is being detained as a suspect in the shooting, deputies said.
The victim was transported to Palmetto Richland, according to the sheriff's department. Her condition is unknown.
Deputies are investigating the incident.
