The State Law Enforcement Division is investigating after shots were fired inside Palmetto Health Richland Wednesday night, according to a report from WIS.
A corrections officer fired his weapon after a patient, who was also an inmate at the Department of Corrections, grabbed hold of his weapon, according to the report.
No one was injured.
