Tapp's Arts Center to Feature Richland One Student Artwork
A celebration kicking off the display will be held Saturday.
The colorful drawings and paintings of students from more than 20 Richland One schools will be on exhibit at the Tapp's Arts Center through the end of March.
The center is hosting a celebration featuring the art of students from school districts in the Midlands in observance of National Youth Art Month.
The celebration kicks off Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a free grand opening geared specifically for young artists, teachers, and parents.This kid-friendly event includes snacks and entertainment.

Performances by Richland One schools will include "Hairspray" by students from A.C. Flora HighSchool at 1 p.m. You also don’t want to miss Crayton Middle School’s production of "Beauty and the Beast, Jr." at 1:30 p.m. or Hand Middle School’s Dance Company at 4 p.m.
