3 Job Fairs Slated For This Coming Week

Job seekers, take note (and print out some resumes): there are three job fairs planned for this coming week. 

Powdersville's Kudzu Staffing will hold a job fair from 9am - 3pm Monday, January 7. 

Available positions include pickers and packers, sequencing control workers and inventory control workers, mattress assemblers, mechanical assemblers, experienced mig production welders, tax prepares, quality control workers, inspectors, heavy lifters, industrial electricians, embroiderers, sewing machine operator, experienced warehouse workers, forklift operators, material handlers, and quality control workers.

Those interested in applying for these jobs should bring identification, resumes or recent work histories and any certifications they hold.

Also on Monday, Tri-County Technical College and local SC Works Centers are teaming up for a Job Fair, which will be held at TCTC's Industrial and Business Development Center, located at their Pendleton campus.  

The job fair will be held 9am - noon on Monday.

The event will be held for Anderson, Oconee and Pickens county residents Monday, January 7, from 9 a.m. – noon in the Industrial and Business Development Center located on the Pendleton Campus.

Participants will be given the opportunity to meet and interview with area employers and to find out about short-term training options in the fields of health care, business, heavy equipment operator, industrial/manufacturing and trucking driving.

The event will help connect participants to the CCE short-term training certificate programs endorsed by area employers.

The following are some of the employers who will be participating: AmCan/Great Wide, Ashmore Bros. Inc., Bosch, C3 Elder Care, Cross Country Home Services, First Quality, Interim Health, I-Tech Solutions, King Asphalt Inc., Maxim Healthcare Services, Michelin, Oconee Medical Center, Phillips Staffing, WasteCo Inc., and ZF Transmissions, and many more.

Greenville's SC Works office will hold a job fair on Tuesday, January 8. The job fair will be held from 9am - 1pm at SC Works' McAlister Square office, located at 225 South Pleasantburg Drive in Suite E-1.

Jobs available include a  living support specialist for the Greenville County Disabilities Office, a financial strategist for Primerica and a number of positions at area hotels through Proyss Staffing. They will also be hiring a concrete handler, line coordinator, packing associate and machine operator to work for Contingent Resource Solutions.

Business attire and resumes are recommended for this job fair.
