All-County Band Concert is Tomorrow

The Pickens All-County Bands will perform at a free concert on Tuesday, January 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Easley High School Auditorium.

All-county band students were selected following auditions before the School District of Pickens County band directors on December 4. With representation from all five middle schools, 82 students were seated in the Pickens All-County Junior Band. The Pickens All-County Senior Band includes 65 students from all
four SDPC high schools.

Tuesday’s concert concludes a clinic that began Monday, January 28, and features clinicians Mike Doll, band director at Palmetto Christian Academy, and Chris Rugila, band director at South Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte.
The concert on Tuesday is open to the public.
