Easley City Council Meeting Tonight

The Easley City Council will hold its regular monthly meeting tonight at the Easley Law Enforcement Center at 7 p.m.

The council will address the following agenda:

9.  UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Ordinance Second Reading:

Ordinance No. 2012-01: To appropriate $60,000 dollars in FY12 State     Accommodations Tax Monies and amend the FY12 City of Easley State Accommodations Tax operating budget accordingly.

10. New Business: (Ordinance First Reading): 

• Ordinance No. 2012-02: To amend Title XI, Chapter 112 of the Easley Code of Ordinances governing alcoholic beverages within the City of Easley. Ordinance No. 2012-03: To amend Title XIII, Chapter 134.04 of the Easle Code of ordinances governing the public possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages within the City Of Easley.
• Ordinance No. 2012-04: To authorize the conveyance of property by quitclaim deed. 
• Ordinance No. 2012-05: To rezone approximately 0.54 acre of real property located at 205 South B Street from R-10, one-family residential district to NC, Neighborhood Commercial (Tax Map No. 5029-13-04-9071)

11. Resolutions: Resolution No. 2012-01: To award a contract to Phillip Brothers Construction in the amount of $312,000 for the construction of batting cages and bullpens at the J.B. “Red” Owens Recreation Complex. 

12. Resolution No. 2012-02: To award a contract to King Asphalt in the amount of $275,000 for the completion of a road diet on SC-135 from Main Street to Alfred Street.
