The Pickens County Library System is pleased to announce a Food for Fines Drive. If your overdue fines are adding up, bring in non-perishable food items to any of our branches between Saturday, Dec. 1 and Saturday, Dec. 15 and we’ll waive your overdue fines! We cannot waive any charges for unreturned or damaged items, but no matter how overdue an item is, return it with a can of food and all is forgiven.
We will NOT accept glass jars, damaged containers, expired, opened, or partially used items.
Don’t have any overdue fines? Share anyway! The upcoming holiday season can be a difficult time for many families. All food items that are collected during our food drive will be donated to local food banks to help families
