
The Hampton Memorial Library in Easley and the Village Branch Library in Pickens will once again be hosting the IRS's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program through United Way and Americorps. This program provides free income tax assistance to anyone in Pickens County with a household income of under $50,000 per year. Services are provided by IRS trained and certified volunteers who specialize in ensuring residents receive all eligible tax credits and deductions, particularly the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC).Â
Assistance will be available from Monday, January 23 until Wednesday, April 18.Â

Mondays from 11am - 3pm

*Walk-ins will be allowed at the Village Branch in Pickens.
