
Kathleen Byrne has been promoted to Operations Manager at Liquid Catering, the Upstate’s first and premier full-service beverage catering company.
A New Jersey-native, Byrne was one of the first hires for Liquid Catering when it opened just over a year ago, said Tammy Johnson, the firm’s owner and president. Byrne has worked in numerous roles for Liquid Catering in the past year including as an Event Manager in charge of dozens of bartenders and servers at events.
“We are very excited to have Kathleen taking this important role in Liquid Catering,” Johnson said. “She brings a high level of energy for this high-demand position.”

In addition, Liquid Catering brought in two summer interns this week. Kristi Banning, a hospitality management and rising senior at the University of South Carolina, and Lindsey Pfrommer, a public relations major and rising senior at Indiana University- Bloomington.
Both interns will be involved in all facets of Liquid Catering event staffing and planning.
