"Sarah's Key" at Hampton Library

Join the Easley Book Discussion group on Tuesday, February 28 at 7pm at the Hampton Memorial Library to discuss Sarah’s Key by Tatiana de Rosnay.

While researching the Vel’d’Hiv’, a Nazi decreed raid and mass arrest in Paris, a journalist named Julia stumbles upon a trail of long hidden family secrets.  As her research continues, Julia realizes that she is connected to a young girl named Sarah who was brutally arrested during the raid.  As she probes Sarah’s past, Julia begins to question her own place in France, and to reevaluate her marriage and her life.

Sarah's Key unlocks the star crossed, heart thumping story of an American journalist in Paris and the 60-year-old secret that could destroy her marriage.  This book will stay on your mind long after it's back on the shelf.”
