Teen Art Contest

The Pickens County Library System invites teen artists in grades 6-12 to submit original artwork as part of our
biannual Teen Art Contest. Winning selections will be displayed in our Teen Area at the Hampton Memorial
Library in Easley from February 1, 2013 to July 31, 2013. Entries should be submitted no later than January 12,
2013.

Official Rules:
• Submissions must be the original work of the entrant.
• Artwork should be no larger than 16 inches by 20 inches.
• An official entry form MUST be turned in with submissions. Submissions without an official entry form
will be disqualified.
• Winners’ names may appear in the media and in library communications. The library will have permission
to photograph and/or reprint images of the artwork for publicity/archival purposes.
• Works that are not selected for exhibition may be picked up from the Teen Librarian following the Art
Contest Reception. Works that are chosen for exhibition will become the property of the library.
