Anderson County Council Wants Input From Residents

County Council will hold a Town Hall meeting Monday, February 11 at the Historic Courthouse in Anderson

Anderson County will hold a Town Hall meeting Monday night to gather input from residents on what council’s priorities should be.

County Council Chairman Francis Crowder says the meeting will be held Monday, February 11 in Council Chambers on the 2nd Floor of the Historic Courthouse in Anderson.  

The meeting will begin at 6:30pm.

Crowder hopes residents will help county council “set the vision for Anderson County’s future” by attending this meeting

Expansion of EMS?

Paving and maintaining of roads?

Balancing sewer costs?

Funding the state and federally mandated stormwater program?

Funding recreation through a county hospitality tax?

Powdersville residents have told Councilman Ken Waters and county staff that they are frustrated with the slow development of Dolly Cooper Park.  

Residents are welcome to share other concerns at the meeting.

“We want to hear from you,” Crowder said.
